The Association : Purpose (article 2 of its statutes)
The purpose of Association Procreaction is to work, create and diffuse images, with no limit on the methods used. All work is done in accordance with rules and regulations stipulated by the French law defining the activities of an association.
The primary goals of the Association are: the acquisition of tools and materials to be able work in the field of image diffusion, aesthetic research and a discovery of cultures.
The Association will also hold true to its ideals and work within realms that relate to projects of a cultural, artistic, documentary or professional manner. The Association will not work on for-profit or religious projects or pursue goals related to the two.
At the heart of our Association, we share a passion for image, graphic arts and film. We have produced several types of projects relating to these interests: photography exhibits, multimedia conception, documentaries, video clips, and recordings of cultural events. We are of course always looking to produce a feature length film.
After two and a half years of working, from July 2003 to the beginning of 2006, the Association Procreaction succeeded in reaching several concrete objectives: the acquisition of equipment (photographic and video) necessary for the production of its projects as well as the necessary computer programs, Adobe programs Photoshop and Premiere, and Macromedia programs Flash and Dreamweaver. The Association works therefore with its own material and programs which are all legally owned and used.
Today, now completely equipped, the Association can invest its resources in other image related projects. These are trips to discover new cultures, unknown landscapes and environments which allow for the conception and production of photographic and video assignments. This allows the Association the possibility to create new websites to exhibit the recent work discovering these new horizons.
