A new adventure in the West Indies... visiting the "Nature Island" of the Lesser Antilles. Dominica - the Commonwealth of Dominica - is located south of Guadeloupe and north of Martinique, two hours by boat from each respective island. The Procreaction team, after a two week stay on the island at the end of 2006, is currently working on a 60 page book about the island, which will be posted online as well as printed in hard copy. TRAVEL WRITING PROJECT (February 2007)

A new artistic endeavor of Procreaction featuring travel narratives from around the world. These narratives are a personal attempt to better understand and truly see places that are unknown. As the author points out “It is through talking to people, feeling one’s surroundings and opening our eyes to the particularities of everyday life in different cultures that we can truly assess and evaluate.” The narratives are therefore glimpses into lives and cultures and are inevitably about sharing experiences in new places. This adventure begins in Canada, in the large western city of Vancouver BC, during the month of December 2005. The relatively mild climate of this season does not allow for a snow-covered winter wonderland, but leaves the photographic exploration to be started in the midst of the classic rain that the region is so well known for. This 16 minute documentary film on the island of Guadeloupe, located in the French West Indies allows the viewer to truly discover the beauty of this particular island. With footage of waterfalls, small seaside villages and the infamous Carnival celebration of February, the viewer has the opportunity to intimately experience the island, her nature and her people. Campaigning as an Alsacian « théâtre à la verte » Marché aux Grains continues with its outdoor productions and its respect for the environment.
